classical guitar techniques: posture, finger-style, rest stroke, free stroke, and independent finger dexterity.

You can also choose to follow the Trinity College Syllabus allowing you to apply for recitals from grades 1-8.

Steel strung acoustic guitar techniques: posture, strumming, picking, finger-style, hammer-on, pull-off, sliding, natural harmonics, playing with a metronome, vibrato, palm muting and choking.
You will also learn how to play your favourite songs.

Electric guitar techniques: posture, plectrum picking, legato, slides, bends, harmonics, tapping and vibrato.
You will learn how to perform chordal accompaniment and perform solos.

In this course you will learn about melody, rhythm and functional harmony.
You can choose to prepare for ABRSM’s music theory exams from grades 1-5, including past paper walk throughs.
Also available for GCSE music.

In this course you will learn to how to create both solo and chordal improvisations, you will learn a variety of jazz and blues standards which will focus on performance, playing by ear, developing your melodic voice, theory, chords, scales and approaches.
